Orange Items- Emos

Why go on living? Everyone eventually dies anyway. The universe is just a spinning area of despair. I cut myself to feel something.
Ahhhh the refreshing words of one of my favorite kinds of person. OK, so they're not the life of the party at all, but i have my reasons. So the idea of Emo actually started with bands. And get this... from the 1980s! So no the idea of emo isnt the style, its the music. From the 1980s to the present and from Embrace to Jimmy Eat World, Emo music has been in our lives. By the way how can anyone hate Dashboard Confessional? Well thats the music out of the way. Now for the style. Emo is now used as a word for a certain fashion style. This is a stereotype created with the new surges of people dressing the same way. These sterotypes include tight jeans, long bangs swiveled over to another side of the face or over the eye(s), black straight hair (now which ethnicity is famous for black straight hair, i wonder...). Even more stipulations include items such as tight shirts, studded belts, skate shoes, canvas shoes, and horn-rimmed glasses! I could tell you more but why should i? When you have the time, ask your neighborhood emo kid (i swear to god every neighborhood has one) and crank up the music while you take a little history lesson.
